A complete Narrative 2 Website needs to include a Flash based website showcasing your work from all of your 3 classes at Freestyle - the main focus of this unit is to introduce you to the process of making a Flash website. Content should include:
  1. Functioning actionscript that controls all navigation from one webpage to another webpage.
  2. Web animation coming out of a page (outro) and web animation going into a new page (intro) - unique animations for each page.
  3. Buttons with animated hover and/or down states with SFX(s).
  4. Music (preferably original) as background music to all pages of the website - with a Pause/Play or On/Off button to control music. Text explanation about your background music, if it's an original composition.
  5. Music needs to automatically turn off when on any video page (with music control button automatically switching to Play or On position) and then turn on automatically when on any other page (with music control button automatically switching to Pause or Off position).
  6. An text introduction to the Narrative 2 Unit
    • Explanation of this web assignment so the viewer will understand the context of the website

  8. Presentation of English class project column writing that was used for Animation along with assigment description.
  9. Presentation of WebAudio class project work: animatic and animation along with assignment description.
  10. 3 "Making of ..." videos - similar to my video tutorials - this is to demonstrate your creative and technical skills in using various applications to produce artwork.
    • Making of Animation: 3 minute minimum, 6 minute maximum of you showing the viewer some features about how you created your animation. Choose some, NOT ALL, features about your animation that you would like to highlight to essentially SHOW OFF and demonstrate your animation production. AND/OR your use of the various animation techniques in After Effects and/or Flash.AND/OR highlight your use of the Puppet Tool in AE. AND/OR highlight your use of the Bone Tool in Flash. Etc. - choose what you think are the best features of yur animation.
    • Making of Surreal Photo: 2 minute minimum, 5 minute maximum about you showing the viewer how you created your Design class Surreal Photo. In Photoshop, turn off the visibility of all layers except your most basic layer. Then turn on subsequent layers and present how each layer adds a new effect to your visual composition ending up with the final compostion.
    • Making of Surreal 10-Year Illustration: 2 minute minimum, 5 minute maximum about you showing the viewer how you created your Design Class 10-Year Illustration.
