:: OVERVIEW OF MY DOCUMENTARY PROJECT ::
For this unit, there was a component that we had to do in each class. For my Web/Audio class, there obviously is this web page that we had created using CSS. (My first time ever using CSS.) We were also responsible for creating an audio documentary. As for Design, we had created a photo documentary, which is posted on this website, and in addition a research paper that is posted as well.
:: AUDIO DOCUMENTARY ::
My partner, Jose, and I decided to do a documentary about being a first generation graduate of high shool and/or college. We interviewed my brother, myself, my friend Lisa, and Robert, an aquaitance. We found it to be very important to highlight the effects of graduating in hopes of using the poeple we know, as in inspiration to those who are Latino to pull through the struggles that may occur and graduate.
:: REASEARCH PAPER ::
The reseach paper is based off of the Audio Documentary that we had done. We used all of our interviews as primary research for this paper. I wrote it according to what I believed to be true. I wrote about influences that families tend to have on young Latinos, struggles, and the interviewees personal sucess.
:: PHOTO PROJECT ::
For my design class, we took a whole bunch of photos that were related to our topic, worked on a few of them on photoshop, and then published a book containing these pictures. This was my favorite part of this unit because I found it to be really fun. So to allow you to see it, we included an online version of this book. Hope it's entertaining.
